Congress MLA Khumakcham Joykishan likely to join BJP

In an exceeding political development, Thangmeiband constituency's MLA Joykishan is also likely to join the force of saffron. A reliable source affirms that he is all set to announce his decision on Monday, 15th November.
Earlier this month two congress's MLAs have joined the Bharatiya Janata Party- Rajkumar Imo Singh, who hails from a notable political family in the State, and Yamthong Haokip.
They both Joined in the presence of Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal and the party's in-charge for Manipur Sambit Patra.
Mr. Sonowal welcomed them into the party fold at the BJP office, Delhi, and asserted that the northeast regions have now established their identity under the BJP led government, which has ensured that union ministers and bureaucrats regularly visit the area to address issues facing it unlike before. The BJP-led coalition government came to power for the first time in Manipur in 2017.
In a very recent development, the lone Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) MLA in Manipur Karam Shyam has also joined the BJP yesterday.
Mr. Shyam, a former minister, joined the BJP in presence of Chief Minister N Biren Singh and President A. Sharda Devi at a program in Lilong Chajing Mairenkhong in the Imphal West district.
In that event, Chief Minister N. Biren Singh exuded his confidence that the BJP would again return to power.
