Lamp Lighting and oath-taking

Lamp lighting and oath-taking function of 1st batch B. Sc Nursing students of Yengkhom Netramani College of Nursing a unit of Jivan Hospital, Kakching was held at auditorium hall of the Y. N College of Nursing.

The function was graced by Y. N College of Nursing's MD, Dr. Yengkhom Ashok Kumar, Jivan Hospital Kakching Medical Superintendent Dr. N. Jivanlata, and Y. N College of Nursing's Principal Prof. Maibam Kumudini as Chief Guest, Special Guest, and President respectively.

Delivering the Chief Guest's speech Dr. Y. Ashok Kumar told the introspection of lamp lighting and oath-taking to the people and the students. He said that the College is established to produce quality nurses and to give mankind a better service of this humble job.

Giving the Special Guest's speech Dr. N. Jivanlata Devi said that Nursing is a very humble service and being a nurse needs a lot of dedication and hard work. She later urges the nursing students to work sincerely and to treat patients with warm hands and delight.
