Painting Competition for Children of Rengpang Village by Noney Battalion
Noney Battalion under the aegis of Headquarters 22 Sector Assam Rifles and Inspectors General of Assam Rifles (East), organized a Drawing cum Painting competition for children of Rengpang Village of Nungba Sub-Division, Noney District on 28 April 2022 with an aim to promote artistic creativity amongst the young minds of the children.

The drive was conducted to promote the importance of education in remote areas. The troops of Company Operating Base Nungba took a step forward in educating the youth and cleared their queries regarding various employment opportunities in Armed Forces and the preparation required for the same.

The event was also aimed at motivating the Children/ Youth to choose the right career and to curb their mindset to join Under Ground groups. The stationary items were distributed to the children of Village Rengpang. The village authorities expressed their gratitude and appreciated the endeavor of the troops of Company Operating Base Nungba for initiating such motivational events for the children. A total of 30 Children participated.
