Zakat Event Celebrated; MD. Nassimuddin to Sponsor Study of Hafiz for Downtrodden Sections of the Society:
Thoubal, 27th April 2022: The Junet Zakah Foundation gave away foods and vegetables today to the downtrodden sections of society in connection with the month of Ramadan. The foundation also organized an Iftar party later on.
Md Nashimuddin, the Director of Zakah Foundation, said that the Islam religion has five foundations. Of these foundations, giving away aid to the utterly helpless, the maimed, and the weaker sections is an important one. The foundation organizes the giveaway function every year.
He continued that only when there exists a system where the rich yearn to help the poor, peace and harmony would come sure in the society. So, we should make sacrifices, the basis of living for all. He also wishes for a peaceful, cooperative, and caring Ramadan where everyone can progress.
He also added that he would sponsor those interested persons (from the downtrodden sections of society) to study Hafiz. He asked everybody to inform the foundation of any such case.
For the sponsorship purpose, Haji Sanayai from near the Lilong Aliya Madrassa has donated to the foundation, he added.
