11602 Spasma Proxybon(SP) Recovered in Mantripukhri
Imphal, 26th April 2022: As part of the ongoing War against Drugs, a team of CDO Thoubal led by O. Wangkhomba, Addl SP (Ops) recovered 11602 (Eleven thousand six hundred and two) nos. of Spasma Proxybon (SP) Tablets inside the sack arrested from a man called Md. Ephammayum Ethem (46) s/o (L) Ephammayum Amo of Kwakta Charangpat. He presently stays at Mantripukhri Ahallup Kontha Khunou.

On receiving information regarding the movement of contraband items from Lilong to the Mantripukhri area, the team of CDO TBL led by O. Wangkhomba, Addl SP (Ops) assisted by O. Iboton DSP (CDO) TBL, and N. Sadananda, OC- CDO TBL under the supervision of Jogeshchandra Haobijam (IPS), SP Thoubal rushed towards Mantripukhri area in Imphal East at around 11.30 and conducted frisking and search operation.
After necessary formalities, the person and his belongings were searched and found 11602 (Eleven thousand six hundred and two) nos. of Spasma Proxybon (SP) Tablets inside the sack.

The arrested person and the seized items are handed over to Heingang PS for further necessary action.

Meanwhile, in yet another similar incident the same team of CDO Thoubal led by O. Wangkhomba, Addl SP (Ops) TBL and assisted by N. Sadananda, OC- CDO TBL under the supervision of Jogeshchandra Haobijam (IPS), detained Md. Shahid Rahaman (27) s/o Md. Abdul and Md. Sajid Ahamad (20) s/o (L) Md. Rashid Ahamad for carrying brown sugar. They both are from Lilong Usoipokpi. They came on a black Yamaha FZ registration number MN01 R9324.
While on observation, the team found 2 (two) soap cases containing brown sugar in their possession, weighing approximately 25 grams in total, excluding the weight of the plastic soap cases.
The arrested people, the seized items, and the vehicle are handed over to Lilong PS. A case has been registered for further necessary action.
