20 Soap cases of Brown Sugar seized at Pallel

On receiving reliable information from 16 AR regarding the movement of contraband items from Pallel to Khongjom area, a team of CDO Thoubal led by O. Wangkhomba, Addl SP (Ops) TBL and assisted by N. Sadananda, OC- CDO TBL under the supervision of Jogeshchandra Haobijam (IPS), SP Thoubal, rushed towards Pallel after intimating Kakching District Control room and conducted frisking checking on the NH 39 highway at Pallel Leimangchingjil Area, detained one person namely Atom Boboy (37) s/o Atom Manglem of Pallel Bazaar coming on an Activa regd. number MN04 D3597, black. After observing necessary formalities, In the frisking operation found 20 (twenty) soap cases containing brown sugar in their possession, weighing approximately 236 grams in total, excluding the weight of the plastic soap cases.
Thereafter, the arrested people along with the seized items are being handed over to Kakching PS for further necessary legal action.
