Chandel: Krishi Vigyan Kendra Organizes Training Programs on Water Conservation and Harvesting

Chandel, 5th May 2022: Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Chandel organized a training program under Jal Shakti Abhiyan-2022 at Lambung village today to promote the need for water conservation and harvesting.
Dr. Kangjam Sonamani Singh, SMS (SWCE), KVK, Chandel, urged the farmer participants to adopt a water-smart lifestyle wherein there should be an effort to harvest and conserve water as much as possible. He stressed further to make water-saving methods a lifelong habit.
He also persuaded the participants to take up renovation and rejuvenation of old water bodies as the need of the hour.
A total of 37 farmers participated in the program.
