One alleged cadre of Prepak-pro Organization apprehended
A piece of reliable information was received from sources about the presence of UG cadre around the Keirak area. Acting on the information, at about 6:15 am, one team of CDO Kakching rushed to said area and conducted random frisking and checking at Keirak Tomal Makhong, near M/S Thoibisana Service Station.
During frisking and checking, one unknown lady was noticed coming by foot from the Wabagai side towards Kakching in a suspicious manner. Due to her suspicious nature, she was detained on the spot for verification.
The Lady identified herself as one Nemneilhing Haokip @ Kim @ Jena (34) W/o. Wahengbam Saratkumar @ Sopaiba Singh (39) of Wabagai Hiyanglam AwangLeikai. She revealed that she and her husband are active cadres of the banned outfit Prepak-pro organization. She joined the organization in the year 2004 through one s/s corporal Chanu of Churachanpur. She got basic military training for 45 days at Burma, Myanmar of the 14th batch and presently holds the rank of 2nd Lt of the said banned organization. She also stated that she worked under the command of one Kesho S/S Major of the said organization.
Hence, she was arrested at the spot i.e. Keirak near M/S Thoibisana Service Station at around 7:45 am by observing formalities. A case has been registered under relevant sections of the law in KakchinG PS for further necessary action.
