Press meet: Appeals to Conduct free and fair selection process for Athelets
Kakching, April 28- Neither the concerned authority nor the M.U authority doesn't give any prior notice and information to the selected student of Kha Manipur College Kakching student Shreekant Naorem for the participation in the All India Inter-University Wushu Tournament 2021-2022 held at Punjab University, Patiala from March 28-31. The M.U authority attitude is oppression of budding athletes said Naorem Romesh father of Shreekant Naorem.
On a press meeting held on Wednesday at his residence at Kakching Naorem Romesh continued that many chit chats were done with the media on this matter, he clarify the matter on media as some people influenced the matter to frame his son wrongly which will affect the career of his son. He also said that if the University authority has any document or evidence of timely report of the selection in All India Inter-University Wushu Tournament 2021-2022 to Rakesh Naorem then they will accept any penalty given to his son. He also appeal to the M.U authority not to repeat such type of incident that occurred on his son to the other.
